Langan Engineering

2021-Present

The Challenge

Langan wanted to showcase our projects, but was interested in a new angle that focused on more than just the technical details. The past, features had gotten bogged down by only showing interest in the site work and then the outcome didn’t feel impactful. Myself and the marketing team were tasked with finding an angle that could reach beyond the technicalities.

The Solution

Talking to project managers, we realized that there were many jobs we were motivated to accept working on because of the public good they would accomplish. This was everything from Penn Med Pavilion to the Swift Factory repurposing project in Hartford. More than a point of pride for the firm, many of these projects became passion outlets for our engineers and reasons they stayed on at the company. It was easy to find the story thread in these works and it meant that interviewing the engineers was much more natural because they enjoyed talking about these locations and what they had accomplished. Over the last 5 years we have produced almost 20 videos highlighting these beloved projects.
